Last week's Mega Minds Enrichment Camp theme was "Game Time". Students created game board bags out of canvas, and game pieces out of stones and wooden cubes. The games they can play with these bags are Checkers, Chess, Yatzee, Farkle, and Tic tac toe! Their game bags turned out Awesome! Next up, "All tied up"!

There was a big pre-4th of July celebration at Mega Minds Enrichment camp last week! Students first made some patriotic slime. FCSD#24 has an opening for an Infant/Toddler Care Provider. The Infant/Toddler Program is a new addition to FCSD#24. We are looking for a positive, motivated, and energetic individual who can assist the Early Learning Team in developing the program. Experience in daycare center operations including a good knowledge of infant and child care techniques. Must have an understanding of daycare center facilities including knowledge of safe and appropriate activities for children, and policies and procedures to ensure that children are supervised and safe at all times. Substitute Teacher Certification Classes
Students attending Mega Minds Enrichment Camp last Wednesday had "buckets of fun"! They started by making summer bucket lists, then made platforms that would hold a 5 gallon bucket of water, after that they regathered and tried to make platforms that would hold a teacher, and of course they couldn't leave camp without having a bucket water fight. Kaylor McConnaughey's National History Day exhibit, Leaving a Mark, was selected to be featured in a virtual exhibit showcase hosted by the Smithsonian National Museum of American History via the Smithsonian Learning Lab.
