
Career Day was on Monday, March 20th. We had an amazing turnout from our community to share their knowledge with our high school students and ended the day with a guest speaker. A huge shout out to everyone who made this day possible.

*Please have your wrestler in the main gym by 4:30 for warm-up
*Please send a water bottle for your wrestler
*If your wrestler has a singlet they would like to use, please send them dressed out

Hello Wrangler Fans,
The HS track team has yet to participate in competition due to the lack of snow melt causing havoc with the track meet schedule. Stay tuned for cancellations and last minute pop-up meets. The JH/Y starts practice this week and is scheduled to go to a meet on Friday, but that is up in the air as to whether or not St. Stephens will have their facilities ready.
The HS wrestling and basketball teams have their celebration banquet on Tuesday at 6pm. Pizza will be provided. This week's events follow:

The 6th-grade National History Day Projects are nearing their final stages of preparation. They will be displayed at the Student Showcase next Thursday.

Hello Wrangler Fans,
The winter sports seasons have come to a close with a highly competitive State Basketball Tournament. The Wranglers fell in the opening round to TR (who went on to take the 3rd place trophy), and then lost a heartbreaker to Greybull on Friday. The Lady Blue fell to LFL in the opening round (who went on to take the runner-up trophy), but rebounded on Friday to beat Wyoming Indian before losing to Rocky in the consolation championship. Please congratulate the Wrangler and Lady Blue players and coaches on amazing seasons!
You may not realize it by looking at the snow on the ground, but we now move on to the spring sport of Track and Field with the HS starting practice today and JH/Y starting 1 week later (weather permitting).

The FFA helped the elementary students celebrate Read Across America by providing a pancake breakfast, decorating the stage, and even having a student dressed up as the Cat in the Hat.

On Friday, the third grade had the pleasure of working with Jessica Klein for engineers' week. The students worked in pairs to plan and build catapults.











Third grade had a contest in which the students created Valentine boxes. Our students were so creative!

What a great week to be a Wrangler Fan!
In the inaugural Girls' Wrestling Championships, Brueklyn Truempler took 3rd, Abriana Kiser took 5th, and Lacoda Kiser took 6th. On the boys side, Pehton Truempler is now a 3 time State Champion while Wiley Phileo, Julian Cabello and Kellen Linnan took 4th and Ethan Tarango took 5th.
Both basketball teams are headed to the State Tournament in Casper! The boys team beat Wyo. Indian in the quarterfinals, followed that with a win over St. Stephens in the semifinals, before falling in the Championship game to take 2nd place in the west. The girls took the long way around after losing in the quarterfinals to Kemmerer. They beat St. Stephens in an elimination game on Friday morning, and then came from behind to beat Big Piney in the Saturday morning elimination game, before losing to Kemmerer once again to take 4th in the west.
