The NASA Artemis II crew splashes down in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of San Diego, California at about 8:07 p.m. EDT (5:07 p.m. PDT) on Friday, April 10 (0007 UTC April 11).
NASA’s Orion spacecraft carrying Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, and Mission Specialist Christina Koch from NASA, along with Mission Specialist Jeremy Hansen from the CSA (Canadian Space Agency), are completing a 10-day test flight around the Moon for scientific discovery, economic benefits, and to build on our foundation for the first crewed missions to Mars.
Watch the Artemis II astronauts come home. NASA's live coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

As a school we use the MRA as a way to evaluate our strengths and weaknesses, develop improvement plans, and monitor progress. We greatly appreciate your efforts in completing this survey, as it makes a great impact on our goals moving forward.
Please note there are two surveys, one for elementary parents and one for secondary. Thank you!

This is NOT an April fools joke-- I encourage you all to join in on the excitement to watch this historic event!!!❤️💙🚀

The first-grade classrooms have been chirping with excitement lately! We are beyond thrilled to share that this year’s incubation project was a total success!! We started with 20 eggs and successfully hatched every single one!🐣✨
This journey was extra special because Mrs. Newberry used eggs from the very chickens she hatched with the first graders last year! 🐓 Our young scientists took their roles very seriously, charting and monitoring the development daily to learn all about the intricate stages of growth. 📝 A major highlight was carefully candling the eggs ( but not too often) to catch a glimpse of the life forming inside. 🔦🥚
From carefully monitoring the incubator to witnessing those first tiny pips, the students have been captivated every step of the way. We even had a live feed set up so students and their families could continue to observe the hatching process from home after school hours! 💻 It was so wonderful to see so many students, parents, and fellow teachers stopping by our classrooms to check on the chicks and share in the excitement. 💛
We would like to thank Mrs. Rodriguez and Mrs. Cotterman for helping set up the live feed and providing all the tech support to ensure we could continue to monitor the progress around the clock. 🛠️📱 Seeing every single chick hatch was the perfect reward for all their hard work and curiosity.
Be sure to check out our link to the time-lapse video of the hatching process and browse through the pictures below to see our journey! We are so proud of these gentle and observant caretakers. https://drive.google.com/file/d/173AQZ3P0OiIDa99iC9kX5bmvpgIdUez5/view
Welcome to the world, little ones! 🐤🐥🌟
