Parents & Guardians: We have been fortunate enough to offer free breakfast/lunch meals for your student(s) over the last two years. Unfortunately, this upcoming school year (2022-2023) that service will not be available through the national lunch program. We will, however, offer free/reduced meals if your child qualifies. Please keep an eye out in August for a letter explaining more details and how your child could qualify for free/reduced meals. We hope you have a wonderful summer and see you in the fall! Hello Wrangler Fans, Regional Track was a huge success, thank you to those who were able to help it run smoothly!! A special shout out to Mistalyn Steffen and her helpers for the hospitality room, Jesse Smith and Ethan Highsmith for quickly diagnosing a glitch in the camera system, Shawn Steffen for taking over the announcer responsibilities on short notice, Christina Mills for taking over the finish line coordinator position on short notice, all the students who gave up their Friday and Saturday to work the meet, and the admissions table workers!! The HS track team now heads to Casper to compete at the State Meet; best of luck to those participants!! 4th through 11th grade students who plan to participate in a sport next year will have the opportunity to get their sports physical done on Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Physical forms were sent home last week. Parents: be sure to completely fill out the physical form. There are 3 places for a parent to sign, 2 places for the student to sign and insurance info must be completed!! We will start with the youngest grade each day to try to finish them in time to get on the after school buses. This week's events follow: Monday, May 16: B day (periods 6-3) School Board Meeting at 5:30pm Tuesday, May 17: C day (periods 4-1) Sports physicals for grades 6, 7, 8, 9 from 2-5:30pm Wednesday, May 18: D day (periods 2-6) Last Day of School for the Class of 2022 Sports physicals for grades 4, 5, 10, 11 from 2-5:30pm Thursday, May 19: E day (periods 7-4) HS Track @ State Meet in Casper (Kelly Walsh HS) Friday, May 20: HS Track @ State Meet in Casper (Kelly Walsh HS) Saturday, May 21: HS Track @ State Meet in Casper (Kelly Walsh HS) **A peek at next week: students will turn in laptops on Monday. Those who met qualifying marks for the Best of the Best will travel to Lander on Tuesday to finish out their season. Shoshoni School will be hosting the 1A/2A West Regional Track and Field Meet on Friday and Saturday!! 1 day pass: Adults $5, Students $3 2 day pass: Adults $8, Students $5 **Workers get in for free!!** Monday, May 9: E day (periods 7-4) Eligibility Warning List: students with 2 or more D's and/or 1 or more F's will have until Wednesday at 3:40pm to take a reestablish sheet to Mr. Mills. Hello Wrangler Fans, The JH/Y track season is wrapping up quickly! They will travel to Burlington for the conference meet this Saturday, and those who have met qualifying marks will go to Lander next Tuesday. The HS track team has one week left to improve their marks before the Regional Meet next weekend. On that note, we need a few workers for the Regional Meet (see THIS LINK). This is a busy week of after school events!! The FFA Banquet is on Tuesday, the Academic Awards Banquet is on Thursday and Prom is on Saturday. This week's events follow: Monday, May 2: A day (periods 1-5) Eligibility Reestablish Day: Those from last week's ineligible list have until 3:40pm to take a reestablish sheet to Mr. Mills. Any who fail to take a sheet will be ineligible to participate in athletic/activity contests through next Wednesday.
