NHS
The National Honor Society is a prestigious society of honor roll students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship as well as leadership skills, service, and character.
Tenth through twelfth-grade students who maintain a cumulative grade point average of 85% or higher, who give volunteer or service hours, who demonstrate an excellent record of behavior in and out of school, and who participate in leadership roles in school and/or the community may apply for membership.
FFA
Shoshoni High School’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) welcomes members who aspire to careers in the agriculture industry. Such careers might include teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners, and more. At Shoshoni High School, we are committed to helping students learn leadership skills and develop personal qualities to eventually have a successful career in the agricultural industry if that is a student’s desire.
“The letters "FFA" stand for Future Farmers of America. These letters are a part of our history and our heritage that will never change. But FFA is not just for students who want to be production farmers; we are the Future Biologists, Future Chemists, Future Veterinarians, Future Engineers, and Future Entrepreneurs of America, too.”
YEARBOOK
Through participation in Yearbook, our students hone their writing skills and learn about photography and typography. It’s a great way to be involved in Shoshoni school events and get to know your classmates even better.
THEATRE
Shoshoni High School Theatre focuses on helping students achieve success through both acting and technical theatre. This is a class and an activity that works to enrich student's lives through fostering creativity.
All students are welcome and encouraged to join. No matter their interests there is a place for every student either on the stage or behind the scenes.
Here is the link to the website and tickets are limited to 30 per night and this will also be available for video on demand for the next two weeks after the show ends for a small fee.
