ResultsCollaboration seems to occur between teachers who like each other, who get along well with each other, or who find their teaching styles are similar. Reciprocal peer coaching, meaning that each teacher evaluates the other, seems to offer support, companionship and feedback to their Peer Coaching partner. New strategies and teaching practices are easier to try with this type of arrangement. The result of my research with Peer Coaching indicates that when it is used, there is a marked improvement in communication. Peer coaching research indicates that the outcomes are positive for all teachers regardless of their years of experience. |
