Feedback

Here is where the most important part of Peer Coaching takes place. Feedback will be given to the teacher by the coach. This is feedback based from what the teacher asked for on the form. Other information could be shared with the teacher, but the primary goal is to address the items that the teacher listed on the observation form. Based upon the techniques which are mastered or not mastered, the teacher and coach can then discuss what should be the next thing to work on. Subsequent observations could be scheduled for on-going activities, new concerns, or non-mastered items.
