The Process

By having a coach, the teacher gets quality feedback and interaction about his/her effectiveness. The major steps involved in the process begin first with a conversation between the teachers. One teacher is the coach, and the other teacher is the one being coached. The teacher who is coached can have many things to be observed during his/her instruction. The following page shows an example of what a teacher could have made up prior to the conversation with the coach. This particular example shows that the teacher wants the coach to look for three things during the observation.
