Gradual Release Method

With new teachers a process called the gradual release method could be drawn out into a series of steps.  The same method works well for students too.  The steps are as follows:  I do-you watch, I do-you help, you do-I help, and you do-I watch.  When you are working with experienced teachers, they may not need to use all phases.  The coach and teacher may decide to use a streamlined version such as:  you do-I help and you do-I watch.  The experienced coaching peers may just choose to do the I do-you watch method.
