Key Goals

The following pages go into more detail about the process and guidelines for implementing Peer Coaching with your peers.  A point to consider about the debriefing process is this.  Very often a by-product of the debriefing yields some ideas that could be used for planning objectives for future observations.   One of the key goals for Peer Coaching is to prepare the teacher so that she/he can perform the skill without assistance from the coach.  Remember that the Peer Coaching process can be set up for first time teachers,  as well as experienced teachers.  The next page covers this idea.
